Transcribing
I offer transcribing of all types of recordings; including technical, scientific, medical, legal, celebrity, and more. Confidentiality is assured. (Confidentiality agreements are available upon request.)
Verbatim Transcribing
Transcribing is done verbatim, with the exception of common speech patterns, such as "um," "uh," "you know," etc. (Please let me know if you need these words included.) A vocabulary list is most welcome, especially for very technical interviews, but is not necessary.
Media
Most types of media are accepted, including but not limited to CD Audio, digital file (.dss, .mp3, .ogg, .wma, and others), audio cassette (micro and macro), DVD, video cassette, and more. If your format is very unusual, there may be some delays in converting it. Please contact me for more information.
Turn-Around
For recordings under 40 minutes in length, the average turn-around time is 3 1/2 days from receipt of the job (delays for difficult audio and some media types may apply). Rush transcribing may be available upon request. For recordings up to 120 minutes, the average turn-around time is 5 1/2 days. Please contact me for more information.
